Health & Family Expo For Those Impacted By Hurricane Maria

Accessible Acupuncture was honored to be invited to present our services at the Health & Family Expo for those impacted by Hurricane Maria at the Orange County Convention Center.

The Expo was a rare collaboration between Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs, the Osceola Board of County Commissioners, and the Government of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico - all seeking to provide information and services to those impacted by Hurricane Maria.

As fate would have it, just as we were wrestling with the decision of whether to close the clinic on a busy Saturday in order to attend the event, two local acupuncturists expressed interest in volunteering.  Although Bob went over to the Expo after his Saturday morning clinic shift, volunteer acupuncturists Atalie & Kirstin stepped up big-time spending the entire day answering questions about acupuncture, spreading the word about affordable acupuncture and providing free ear acupuncture treatments to a large number of Expo attendees!
